Given - 1.23 g of Ca(NO3)2 in 10 g of H2O. Kb=0.52
We know that, Kb=Cα2
α - Degree of Dissociation C - Molarity / Molality
C = 1.24164×100010 = 0.75
Kb=Cα2α=KbC=0.520.75=0.69=0.83
Hence the degree of dissociation is 0.83 .
