Solution

All Solution is not always clear and transparent there are milky solitions there are opaque solutions.
But true solutions are always clear and transparent.
Solutions are homogeneous in nature. The particles of a true solution cannot be distinguished from the solvent particles. The size of solute particles is less than 1nm. Particles of solution do not settle down at the bottom when left undisturbed. They are very stable. They do not scatter a beam of light and hence do not show Tyndall effect. They cannot be filtered from ordinary filter paper. Hence solutions are always clear and transparent. Examples of solutions are: salt in water, sugar in water.
