Question

A solution of acetone in water is made by mixing 25 mL acetone and 75 mL water. The prepared solution is divided into two parts i.e., part I and part II in ratio of 2 : 3 by volume. In part I, 10 mL acetone is added and in part II 10 mL water is added. Now, 20 mL of each solution is taken and mixed. If the concentration of final solution is 28% (v/v), then the mass of acetone that evaporated during mixing is
25 mL एसीटोन तथा 75 mL जल को मिलाकर जल में एसीटोन का विलयन बनाया जाता है। बनाये गये विलयन को दो भागों अर्थात आयतन की दृष्टि से 2 : 3 अनुपात में भाग I तथा भाग II में विभाजित किया जाता है। भाग I में 10 mL एसीटोन तथा भाग II में 10 mL जल मिलाया जाता है। अब, प्रत्येक विलयन का 20 mL लिया जाता है तथा इसे मिश्रित किया जाता है। यदि अन्तिम विलयन की सान्द्रता 28% (v/v) हो, तो मिश्रित करने के दौरान वाष्पीकृत एसीटोन का द्रव्यमान है
