Given, Number of vibrations in 3 seconds=1500 (i) Number of vibrations in 1 second=1500 / 3=500 So, frequency=500Hz (ii)wavelength =2*Distance covered by a compression and an adjacent rarefaction =2*68 =136 cm =1.36m (iii) Velocity of sound wave=v =frequency x wavelength =500 x 1.36 = 680 m/s
