Using momentum conservation,
MU=m1v1+m2v2
Here,
M=2000Kg, U=600 m/s, m1=500, m2=1500, u1=0m/s
Substituting these values MU=m1v1+m2v2, we get,
2000×600=500×0+1500×v2

v2=2000×6001500=20×2005=800 m/s
