Orbital velocity of space-ship,
v0=GMr(since r>>R)
Since, g=GMR2
GM=gR2
Now, v0=Rg=6.4×106×9.8
=7.9195km/s
Again, ve=2Rg=2×7.9195
=11.20km/s
Additional velocity required =11.207.9195=3.28 km/sec
