To find the tension in the string
Solution:
The above figure shows the free body diagram
Now apply T=0=0 about an axis through the center of the sphere.
And Fx=0 to the sphere
Substitute for f:
fRTR=0T=ff+Tcosθmgsinθ=0T=mgsinθ1+cosθT=m×10×sin(30)1+cos(30)T=5m2+32T=10m2+3
is the tension in the string.
