The correct option is B 1e1+e
By definition of the coefficient of restitution
e=v2v1u1u2=v2v1u=0
i.e
And by conservation of momentum
mumv1+mv2
or
v2+v1=u
Solving Equations (1) and (2) for v1 and v2 we get
v1=u(1e)2 and v2=u(1+e)2
So,
v1v2=[1e1+e]
