Solution
The correct option is B 420 Total Hockey sticks = 2000 Price of each hockey stick = Rs. 350 Total price = 2000 *350 = Rs. 700000 But 10 % hockey sticks were defective i.e. 200 hockey sticks were defective. It means 1800 hockey sticks cost him Rs. 700000 Selling price with 8% gain for total stick = 700000 + 8% of 700000 = Rs. 756000 Selling price of each stick would be = 756000 / 1800 = Rs. 420.
