The correct option is D 0.5msec2
As the toy jumps off the balance , the normal force acting on the balance is going to increase which is given as 1.05kg
So, initially when the toy was at rest the normal force was m×g=10N.
So, the change in force because of the jump =1.05g10=0.5N
So, the acceleration is a=Fm=0.51=0.5m/s2
