The correct option is D $0.89$ ms $^{- 2}$
$2 a = 2 g - T$ ...(1)
$T . r = I α$ .
or $T = \frac{I}{r^{2}} a = \frac{0.2 a}{(0.1)^{2}}$ ....(2).
From equation (1) and (2).
$a = \frac{2 g}{(2 + 20)} = 0.89 m s^{- 1}$
