Side of the square $= 18 c m$
The breadth of a rectangle $= 12 c m$
Area of a square $=$ Area of a rectangle ……(Given)
$S i d e \times S i d e = l e n g t h \times b r e a d t h 18 \times 18 = l \times 12 324 = l \times 12 ∴ l = \frac{324}{12} l = 27$
Hence, the length of the rectangle is $27 c m .$
