Given: Side of triangle $=\frac{4}{3}cm$

Square and equilateral triangle both have a common side i.e. $BC$.

So, all the sides of square and triangle will be equal and of measure $\frac{4}{3}cm.$


$\therefore$ Perimeter of the figure $=AB+BD+DE+EC+AC$

$=\frac{4}{3}+\frac{4}{3}+\frac{4}{3}+\frac{4}{3}+\frac{4}{3}$

$=5\times \frac{4}{3}$

$=\frac{20}{3}cm$

$=\frac{62}{3}cm$

Hence, perimeter of the figure is $\frac{20}{3}cm$ or $6\frac{2}{3}cm$.
