No , this is not true .Reason -: Diameter of circle =d So length of side of outer square is =d Hence area is = side 2=d2and the diagonal of inner square is =d So it's length of side is =d2 and hence area of inner square is =(d2)2 =d22 So the area of outer square = 2×the area of inner square .
