Given side of a square = 8 cm

If it is cut into two equal parts the along the length, then:

the rectangles formed will have the length and breadth as 8 m and 4 m respectively

The perimeter of the rectangle will be 2 $\times$ (8+4) = 24m

The perimeter of the rectangle will be equal to the circumference of the circle.

The circumference of the circle whose radius is R m = 2 $π$ R
2 $π$ R = 24
R = $\frac{12}{π}$ m
R = 3.81 m
The radius of the circle is 3.81 m.
