The correct option is C 16 cm
Let the length of the rectangle = l cm
Given: The areas of the square and the rectangle are the same.
Side of the square = 8 cm.
$∴$ Area of the square = $8 \times 8$ = 64 sq.cm
$\Rightarrow$ Area of the rectangle is also = 64 sq.cm
Given: Width (w) of the rectangle = 4cm
Area of the rectangle = l x w
64 = $l \times 4$
$∴$ l = $64 \div 4$ = 16 cm
