A square PQRS of side 22 cm is divided into five equal parts. The central part is circular and the lines, PA, QB, RC and SD lie along the digonals PR and QS of the square.

Find
(i) The circumference of the central part.
(ii) The perimeter of the part PADS.

Side of square = 22cm

Ar=22×22=484 cm2
Area of circle = 15×484
=15×484
r2=15×484×744
r2=22×75
r=22×75=1545=5.5 cm
Thus circumference = 2πr=2×π×T.T
Perimeter of PADS = PS+2(PA)+AD
=PS+2[12PRr]+14×2πr
