The correct option is B

400(1+2) m2


Given, Area of the base (Square) = 400 m2 ; Base edge = 400=20m Slant height = (height of pyaramid)2+(base edge2)2

Height of pyramid = 10 m. Slant height = 102+102=102

Total surface area=base area+4×(12×base×slant height = 400+4×(12×20×102)

= 400+4002=400(1+2) m2
