The correct option is C Rs. 6000
Area of a square = $(s i d e)^{2}$
Hence, the area of the square park = (20 m) $^{2}$ = 400 $m^{2}$ .
Given, the area of the pathway = $100 m^{2} .$
Hence, the area to be covered by grass = $(400 - 100) m^{2} = 300 m^{2} .$
So, the cost of laying the grass = Rate per $m^{2}$ $\times$ Area = $₹ 20 p e r m^{2}$ $\times$ 300 $m^{2}$ = ₹6000.
