A square shaped swimming pool with area $324$ sq m has a deck of uniform width $3$ m built around it. Then the area of the deck is $21 m$ . Find $m$

$l e n g t h o f p o o l = \sqrt{324} = 18 o u t s i d e l e n g t h o f p o o l = 18 + 3 + 3 = 24 ∴ a r e a o f d e c k = 24^{2} - 18^{2} = 576 - 324 = 252 = 21 \times 12 ∴ m = 12$
