The correct option is A 12 Hz

According to the question, there are 4 loops in 3 m.

4×λ2=3

λ=(32)m

Given that, the velocity of the wave,

Vm=18 ms1

Frequency,

f=(Vmλ)=18(32)=12 Hz

Hence, option (A) is correct.
