Given that,
x=6 cm; t=18 sec
Equation of standing wave is
y=4cos(πx3)sin40πt
By differentiating we get velocity of particle as,
V=dydt=4cos(π×63)[(40π)cos40π(18)]
=160 π cos(2π)(cos 5π)
=160 π(1)(1)
V=160 π cm/s
Hence, the correct answer is (d).
