The solubility of a given solute in a given solvent typically depends on temperature. Depending on the nature of the solute the solubility may increase or decrease with temperature. For most solids and liquids, their solubility increases with temperature.
But in the case of gaseous substance, temperature inversely influences solubility i.e. as the temperature increases gases expand and try to escapes from their solvent .So gaseous solutes exhibit more complex behavior with temperature. As the temperature is raised, gases usually become less soluble in water
