Given: mass m=45 kg, initial velocity u=0 (because, initially the body was at rest), displacement s=18 m, and acceleration, a=1 ms2
Let the final velocity of the car be v.

Using the third equation of motion:
v2=u2+2asv=2as (as u = 0)
v=2×1×18=36=6 ms1
Initial momentum p1=mu=0
