The correct option is A Height of the pedestal=0.8(3+1) m
Now from the figure
FBC=450
ABC=600
Therefore
tan450=hm=1
Hence h=m
And
tan600
=1.6+hh
=3
Hence
1.6+h=3h
1.6=h(31)
h=1.631
=1.6(3+1)2
=0.8(3+1)
=2.185m
Hence the height of the pedestal is 2.185m.
