The correct option is C 2.4 hrs
When the streamer go along the flow if speed is $3 k m / h + 2 k m / h = 5 k m / h$
Time taken to travel down stream is $t_{1} = \frac{d i s t a n c e}{e f f e c t i v e s p e e d}$
$∴$ $t_{1} = \frac{2 k m}{5 k m / h} = 0.4 h$
When the streamer go against the flow it speed is $3 k m / h - 2 k m / h = 1 k m / h$
Time taken to travel upstream is $t_{3} = \frac{d i s t a n c e}{e f f e c t i v e s p e e d}$
$t_{2} = \frac{2 k m}{1 k m / h} = 2 h$
Total time $= 2 + 0.4 = 2.4 h$
