A steel cylinder of 40 litres capacity contains a gas under 200 atmospheric pressure. Find how many cylinders of 400cm3 capacity could be filled from it at 76cm of Hg.[Temperature is constant]

The steel cylinder having capacity V=40 litres and Pressure P=200 atm.
New cylinder having capacity v=400 cc=0.4 litre and pressure p=76 cm of Hg=1 atm.
PV=npv
200atm×40litres=n×1atm×0.4litre
n=200×400.4=200×100=20000
20000 number of small cylinder will be needed.
