Solution

The correct option is A 75 kN
Net area calculation Along 12346,
A1=(703×10+2×3024×20)×8
=500 mm2

Along 1235,
A2=(702×10+3024×20)×8
=490 mm2

Along 735,
A3=(7010)×8
=480 mm2

Effective net area,
An=480 mm2

Strength of flat in net area rupture
=An×160 N/mm2
=480×160×103 kN
=76.8 kN

Strength of bolts
=30×3=90 kN
Maximum load that can be applied
=Min(76.8,90)
=76.8 kN
