A steel wire when bent in the form of a square encloses an area of 121sq.cm, if the same wire is bent into the form of a circle, find the area of the circle.

Given that

Area of square=121sq.cm

Therefore, length of wire=121cm

length of wire=11cm

This wire is bent in form of circle.

2πr=11

r=112π

Area of circle=πr2

Area of circle=π(112π)2

On solving we get

Area of circle=1214cm2
