Output power, P2=880W

Efficiency, η=88%

Step 2: Finding the input current.

We know that,

Efficiency, η=P2P1

Where, P2 and P1 is the output and input power respectively.

Now,

88%=880P1

P1=88088%

V1I1=880×10088 power=V×I

2200×I1=880×10088

I1=880×10088×2200

I1=880×10088×2200

I1=0.45A
