Given:m=100g=0.1kg,r=50cm=0.5m,g=9.8m/s2, vL=7m/s
To find:Velocity at the highest point vH
vH=2(TEH)m4gr
Calculation:Total energy at highest point,
T.E(H)=K.E at lowest point=12mv2L
T.EH=12×0.1×72
=2.45J
From formula,
vH=2(2.45)0.14×9.8×0.5
=29.4=5.422m/s
The velocity at the highest point is 5.422m/s
