Work done by resistive force=P.E at 50m height.
F.d=mg×50
F=5×10×501 negative sign due to displacement in sand is opposite to the resistance (F).
F=2500N
Velocity before collision w1ksand is v=2g×50
N=1000=31.62m/s
Change in momentom=mv
Ft=5×31.62
t=0.0632sesc.
