The correct option is A 42 min
Time period is given by,

T=2πω=2πRg

Substituting, R=64×105 m and g=10 m/s2, we get

T=2π64×10510

T=1600π sec

T=1600π60=83.8 min

So, time taken by ball from one end to other end is T/2=41.9 min.
