Given: Stream flow (QR)=25 m3/sec

BOD concentration of stream BOD5(CR)=15 mg/L

Sewage flow (QS)=1.5 m3/sec

BOD5 concentration of sewage (CS)=245 mg/L

BOD concentration of mix C=CSQS+CRQRQS+QR

C=245×1.5+15×2525+1.5

C=28.01 mg/L
