The correct option is A 0.89 ms2
Applying Newton's second law for the block,
mgT=ma
2a=2gT....(1)
And applying the rotational form of Newton's law for the pulley,
T.r=Iα
or T=Ir2a=0.2a(0.1)2=20a....(2)
From equations (1) and (2),
a=2g(2+20)=0.89 ms2
