for fifth harmonic, n = 5
f5=5v2l
Given v=500 m/s,l=2 m
f5=500×52×2=625 Hz
Using v=fλ
λ=500625=45 m=0.8 m

Alternative,
For fifth harmonic vibration, number of loops formed in strings (n=5)
L=n×λ2
2=5×λ2
λ=45=0.8 m
using v=fλ
f=vλ=500×54=625 Hz
