Total amount collected $= 406 \frac{2}{5} = \frac{2032}{5}$
Amount paid by one student $= 3 \frac{1}{5} = \frac{16}{5}$
Number of students $= \frac{T o t a l a m o u n t}{A m o u n t p a i d b y o n e s t u d e n t}$
$= \frac{2032 / 5}{16 / 5}$
$= \frac{2032}{16}$
$= 127$
Hence, number of students are 127.
