Cytokinesis is the process of division of cytoplasm of a cell after the division of nucleus in the cell cycle.

In plant cells which have cell wall outside the cell membrane, the formation of cell wall in the young daughter cell takes place from the middle of cytoplasm where the cells are dividing. This cell plate starts from the middle and moves towards the end forming two cells surrounded by cell wall. Hence, the given cell is from a plant.

While in animals, cell do not have cell wall but only plasma membrane. The cell will start constricting from the ends and meet in the middle at the end after which the cells will be separated.

Virus and bacterial cells do not have chromosome as well as nucleus as shown in the diagram.
