The correct option is B Only statement 2 is correct.
As per the information given, it can be inferred that the recessive traits will be expressed only in the F2 generation. Recessive traits fail to express themselves in the presence of the dominant traits. They are visible only if both the copies of the recessive trait exists together (tt). E.g., In F1 generation the trait combination obtained is only Tt i.e. tall. But in the F2 (selfing of the F1 ) generation both dominant and recessive traits are obtained in the ratio 3:1 respectively.
