Let weightage of Hindi, History and Economics = x
The weightage of Maths = 2x
and of English = 3x
So, here $w_1=3x,w_2=2x,w_3=x,w_4=x,w_5=x$
Then, weightage arithmetic mean
$\overline{X}=\frac{\sum x_i{w}_i}{\sum w_i}$
$=\frac{w_1{x}_1+w_2{x}_2+w_3{x}_3+w_4{x}_4+w_5{x}_5}{w_1+w_2+w_3+w_4+w_5}$
$=\frac{\left(46\right)\left(3x\right)+67\left(2x\right)+53x+72x+58x}{3x+2x+x+x+x}$
$=\frac{138x+134x+53x+72x+58x}{8x}$
$=\frac{455x}{8x}=\frac{455}{8}=56.865$ marks
