Solution

The correct option is B FeSO4 and CuSO4
Ferric hydroxide is green in colour which is obtained by the reaction of ferrous sulphate with caustic soda.

FeSO4+2NaOHFe(OH)3(green colour)+Na2SO4

When the solution of FeSO4 is treated with potassium ferrocyanide solution, a blue coloured complex of ferric ferrocyanide is formed.

FeSO4+3K4[Fe(CN)6]Fe4[Fe(CN)6](blue colour)+K2SO4

Copper hydroxide is blue in colour. When the solution of CuSO4 is treated with potassium ferrocyanide solution, a brown coloured complex of copper ferrocyanide is formed.

CuSO4+2NaOHCu(OH)2(blue colour)+Na2SO4

CuSO4+K4[Fe(CN)6]Cu2[Fe(CN)6](brown colour)+K2SO4

Hence, option D is correct.
