Solution
The correct option is C62.5g Let the mass of solution =100g Mass of sugar =15g Mass of water =100−15=85g On heating some amount water is disappeared and let the new amount of solution is (X)g, which contain 40% sugar equal to 15g X×40100=15 x=37.5g After heating mass of solution is =37.5g Mass of water = Mass of solution - Mass of water =37.5−15=22.5 Amount of water disappeared on heating =(85−22.5)=62.5g
