A sugar solution of 60kg has 20% sugar in it. How much sugar must be added in this to make it half of the solution

Let the sugar added to the solution be $X$

Sugar present in solution=$\frac{20}{100}\times 60=12$ $Kg$

Other things present in solution=$60-12=48$ $Kg$

According to question,$12+X=48$

On solving this we get $X=36$ $Kg$
