total surface area of cuboid suitcase $=2(lb+bh+hl)=2\left[\right(48\left)\right(80)+(80\left)\right(24)+(48\left)\right(24\left)\right]$

$=13824c{m}^2$

$⟹$ Area of $100$ suitcases $=100\times 13824c{m}^2$

Area of rectangle tarpaulin $=lb$

Meters for tarpaulin $=\frac{13824\times 100}{96}=14400$ cm $=144$ m
