Zinc Blende ( ZnS) is a sulfide ore of Zinc (Zn). ZnS has a unique structure type compared to other molecules. It has a diamond-type network and at a different temperature, ZnS can become the wurtzite structure type which has a hexagonal type symmetry. On the basis of structure, the ZnS structure is more thermodynamically favored.
