A sum of money is to be distributed among A,B,C, D in the ratio of 5:2:4:3. If C gets Rs1000more than December what is B's share?

Since the distribution to A, B, C and D is in the ratio 5:2:4:3 let A receive 5x, B receive 2x, C receive 4x and D receive 3x Rs.
C gets Rs 1000 more than D
It means 4x = 3x + 1000
or 4x-3x=1000
or x = 1000
So B's share = 2x = 2x1000 = Rs 2000
Answer: Rs 2000
