Let the Number of Boys be $x$

and so, number of girls will be $100-x$

Now, $2.10\times x+2.90(100-x)=250\Rightarrow 2.10x-2.90x+290=250\Rightarrow 40=.80x\Rightarrow x=50$

$100-50=50$

Hence, There are 50 Girls, 50 Boys
