$L e t t h e n u m b e r o f R s 5 n o t e s b e x$

$H e n c e t h e n u m b e r o f R s 10 n o t e s b e (90 - x)$

$T o t a l s u m o f m o n e y = R s 500$

$∴ 5 x + 10 (90 - x) = 500$

$5 x + 900 - 10 x = 500$

$- 5 x = 500 - 900 = - 400$

$∴ x = 80$

$H e n c e t h e r e a r e 80 n o t e s o f R s 5 a n d 10 n o t e s o f R s 10.$
