A swimming pool is 40 m long and 15m wide. Its shallow and deep ends are 1.5 m and 3 m deep respectively. If the bottom of the pool slopes uniformly, find the amount of water in liters required to fill the pool.

The correct option is A 13,50,000 litres
Vol. of Swimming pool = Vol. of cuboid + Vol. of the triangular part
Vol. of cuboid of length=40,breadth=15,height=1.5 =40×15×1.5=900m3
Vol. of triangular part =40,height =1.5,length =15,=12×40×15×1.5=450m3
volume of swimming pool=900+450=1350m3=1350000litres
