The part of the pool filled in half an hour = $\frac{3}{10}$
So, the part of pool which is filled in $1 \frac{1}{2}$ hour is 3 times the pool filled in half an hour.
= $3 \times \frac{3}{10}$ = $\frac{9}{10}$ part
